How to Generate Barcodes

• Enter SKU, Description, and Quantity in the form
• Click "Generate Barcode" to create a barcode in format: [SKU]-[description]-[quantity]
• Select printer size: 58mm or 80mm thermal printer
• Click "Print Current" to print the last generated barcode
• Use "Export All" to export all generated barcodes as CSV
• Use "Clear All" to remove all generated barcodes

Printing Tips

• Make sure your thermal printer is properly connected
• Select the correct label size before printing
• Test print with one label first
• The barcode text appears exactly as entered below the barcode

Barcode Format

The barcode follows this exact format: [SKU]-[description]-[quantity]

Example: SKU001-Widget-Red-5

This format ensures consistency and easy scanning.

How to Scan Barcodes

• Click "Start Scanner" to activate your camera
• Allow camera permissions when prompted
• Point the camera at a barcode
• The scanner will automatically detect and add barcodes to the list
• Click "Stop Scanner" when finished
• The screen will flash green when a barcode is successfully scanned

Quantity Tracking

• Scanned items are grouped by SKU
• Quantities are automatically accumulated for the same SKU
• Total quantity and unique SKU counts are displayed in statistics
• Each scan adds the quantity from the barcode (format: SKU-description-quantity)

Export & Sharing

• Click "Export CSV" to download shipping-list.csv
• Click "Share CSV" to share the file using your device's sharing options
• Click "Print List" to print a formatted list of scanned items
• Data is automatically saved in your browser

Troubleshooting

• Ensure good lighting when scanning
• Hold the camera steady about 6-12 inches from the barcode
• Make sure barcodes are not damaged or obscured
• Check camera permissions in browser settings if scanner doesn't start
• You can also enter barcodes manually in the "Manual Barcode Entry" field
