Header Buttons Overview
- Import – Load a previously saved planner (.json file).
- Export – Download a full backup of your current planner.
- Print – Generate a clean 3-column guest list grouped by tables.
- Clear All Data – Delete all guests, tables and planning data.
Tip: Use this button first to start with a new Empty planner.
Theme Toggle (Wedding/Event Mode)
- Use the 💕 Wedding / 🎉 Event toggle in the header to switch between Wedding (rose theme) and Event (blue theme) planner modes.
- Your data remains the same regardless of theme.
Tip: Perfect for planning corporate events, parties or any non-wedding gathering! Or switch back to a wedding planner
Wedding/Event Details
- Enter the couple/event names, event date, and venue information.
- This section helps personalize your planner and printouts.
- Update details anytime — changes are saved automatically.
Tip: Complete this section first so all exported or printed documents include accurate event information.
Must-Do List (Task Manager)
- Add important tasks (e.g., book photographer, confirm catering, send invitations).
- Mark tasks as completed once finished.
- Edit or remove tasks anytime.
- Use this list to stay organized during the planning process.
Recommended: Review this section weekly to stay on track.
Expenses Calculator
- Add expense categories (venue, catering, music, decorations, etc.).
- Enter estimated and actual costs to track your budget.
- The total budget updates automatically.
- Monitor spending to avoid exceeding your planned amount.
Tip: Update actual costs as payments are made for accurate financial tracking.
Guests & Tables Management
1. Adding Guests
- Add guests to the Master Guest List.
- Drag guests up or down to reorder them.
- Edit guest names if needed.
2. Creating Tables
- Create tables based on your venue layout.
- Name tables clearly (e.g., Table 1, Family Table, VIP Table).
3. Assigning Guests to Tables
- Use the dropdown and "+" button to assign a guest to a table.
- Each guest can only be assigned to one table at a time.
- Guests are automatically removed from the unassigned list once seated.
4. Moving Guests
- Drag and drop guests between tables to rearrange seating.
- Reorder guests within a table using drag and drop.
5. Printing & Backup
- Use Print to generate a structured seating list.
- Use Export regularly to save a backup copy.
- Use Import to restore a saved planner file.
Important: Clearing all data cannot be undone unless you have exported a backup file.
