Another 3 days of this blogging consistency test has past. We are at day 10 of the test now.
Traffic stats are not optimistic
Day 8:
- Visitors: 6
- Views: 22
- Searches: 0
Day 9:
- Visitors: 5
- Views: 10
- Searches: 1
Day 10:
- Visitors: 2
- Views: 3
- Searches: 0
Traffic is dropping significantly as result of not creating new blog posts. This is still nonconfirmed and subject to test further till the end of the blogging test, but will be right to say that:
posting consistency have some influence on traffic
How much will see at the end of this blogging consistency test, in 5 days.
SEO stats
If can, results should be measured and analyzed. Have to gather the stats first.
Day 8, MOZ metrics:
- DA (Domain Authority): 10
- PA (Page Authority): 16
- TB (Total Backlinks): 54
Day 9, MOZ metrics:
- DA (Domain Authority): 10
- PA (Page Authority): 16
- TB (Total Backlinks): 54
Day 10, MOZ metrics:
- DA (Domain Authority): 10
- PA (Page Authority): 16
- TB (Total Backlinks): 56
According to MOZ, there is one point growth in Page Authority. This came as a result of new backlinks acquired and the fact that some of the new backlinks refers to the homepage itself and some to posts on this blog.
AHREFS also shows some improvement too. Stats goes like this.
Day 8, AHREFS metrics:
- DR (Domain Rating): 9
- Backlinks: 113 (64% dofollow)
- Linking websites: 33 (24% dofollow)
Day 9, AHREFS metrics:
- DR (Domain Rating): 9
- Backlinks: 121 (60% dofollow)
- Linking websites: 34 (24% dofollow)
Day 10, AHREFS metrics:
- DR (Domain Rating): 9
- Backlinks: 124 (58% dofollow)
- Linking websites: 34 (24% dofollow)
While the domain rating stays the same, number of linking websites is growing as a result of effort in getting backlinks.
Chronologically it goes like this:
Day 8:
- 6 new comments + 2 more links. One from a ping service and one more from another place (nondisclosed)
Day 9:
- 12 new comments posted on relevant websites and blogs. Two website directories submissions
Day 10:
- 6 comments and one website directory submission
Not much. but link building is a slow and time consuming process if following by the rules. If want fast results there are methods that give quick even instant results. Con is that even if they work and give fast results, they are black hat and will hurt your SEO sooner or later.
None the less you’ll be tempted (and will use them eventually). It only takes to place the URL of the website you need backlinks for and press a button (or 2) to get thousands of free backlinks in a minute. But, we would not recommend this.
